An endometriosis patient’s story: Impact on personal and professional life

We’re excited to present the fourth and final episode of Scailyte’s Endometriosis Awareness Series, where Cinzia Donato interviews Sreya Desari, an inspiring young woman sharing her personal journey with endometriosis.

Sreya, now 19 years old, has been grappling with heavy periods, severe cramping, and iron deficiency since the age of 11. Initially, her symptoms were dismissed as “normal” for someone experiencing an early period. However, after switching to her current primary care physician, she finally received the treatment and support she needed.
